Drowning

Today’s post comes from the talented artist Mick Jenkins as he teams up with BadBadNotGood for their conceptual video “drowning”. This video shows Jenkins as a drowning slave trying to escape his situation so he can breathe. Jenkins poetically speaks on the state of the United States as he challenges the social injustices that has been going on and continue to go on. The Toronto band Badbadnotgood accents perfectly with Jenkins as they provide a smooth heart felt sound that marries the lyrics perfectly.
