When you hear “link up” by Anderson Paak and Knxwledge one can’t help but think of this R&B jam as a funky version of elevator music. “Link up” takes the funk template pioneered by musical genius groups like Parliament, Funkadelic, The Ohio Players and the Gap Band and creates their own sound.
